The political campaign organization of Jane Doe is planning its activities for the campaign season. Part of the plan is interacting with voters for purposes of collecting donations and encouraging favorable voting behavior. Among the processes being planned are: 1) door-to-door canvassing and 2) telephone calling. In door-to-door canvassing, a volunteer distributes literature to households and during ensuing interaction collects information on possible voting preferences. A typical telephone call is about reading a prepared script and engaging the responder in a conversation to establish possible voting preferences. At the end of each day, all volunteers are required to relay collected information on donations and voting preferences to a Volunteer Coordinator, who compiles it and sends it to a Campaign Analyst. The job of the latter is to create weekly reports on campaign progress submitted to the Campaign Organizing Committee. The Campaign Organizing Committee, in addition to overseeing the work of all campaign staff, meets every week to discuss reports prepared by analysts. Volunteer Coordinators meet with Volunteers assigned to them, once a week as well.
