Create TWO simple storyboards. One showing a rational appeal and the other showing an emotional appeal. You can use a different product or service for each, if your like. The example shows the suggested format: Each box (called a panel) shows the shot as you imagine it. Below each panel is the script and any special instructions that apply to that panel (such as "zoom in" or "slowly pan across"). What I will be grading is the use of either rational or emotional elements to engage the viewer using the AIDA concept with both the video and the audio components. Please write a paragraph for each storyboard (not each panel) explaining how you are customizing the video to the specific appeal. There is no special number of panels required as it depends on the message. If you need to use two pages for a message, go ahead. It doesn't matter if the pages are portrait or landscape in layout. Please use at least 6 panels in order to provide the creative department with enough information. While you are free to use some kind of drawing software if you wish, it is not required. Simply draw it out and scan or photograph it. All videos start in this form. Once the idea is decided and the script is written, it is handed to a creative department to plan, shoot, and edit. Submit the file via the Dropbox on Moodle. It must be in pdf format. The file name should be your last name, first initial, and name of assignment. So, if your name is Tracey Brown, you would send it with this file name: brownt-assignment2.pdf
