Each adversary (prosecution and defense) seeks to present the facts that are most advantageous to its position. Each adversary also seeks to prevent and make it difficult for the opponent to do the same. Do you feel that this adversarial system may actually hinder the finding of the truth? Why or why not? Provide examples that support your decision.
