Dan and Dean are twin brothers who, through their early years, had a very close and cordial relationship with each other. After college, they purchased a home together and took title to the property as joint tenants with right of survivorship. After a few years of living together, however, the relationship between the brothers began to fray. They both found girlfriends, got married, and moved out of the house. While neither lived in the home any longer, they continued to own it together and rented it out. The relationship between Dan and Dean continued to deteriorate to the point where Dan told Dean I'm so sick of you that I can't stand to look in the mirror, because every time I do, I see you!" Dan, in fact, was so emphatic in his dislike of Dean that he wrote a Will in which he directed that all of his property be given to his wife, and that "... not one penny of my property be given to that disgusting Dean, with whom I share my genes." (Pretty strong language!!) One day, alas, Dan happened to look in the mirror, and so overcome with revulsion at the image of his brother Dean looking back at him, had a heart attack and died on the spot. Based on the Will, Dan's wife is claiming that Dan's interest in the house owned together by Dan and Dean for all these years be given to her. Dean contends that Dan's interest belongs to him (Dean). Your job is to tell me who is going to get Dan's interest in the home and why you are answering the way you are.
