Daniel purchased a Lindt Chocolate Bunny from the supermarket that had a bell tied around its neck with a red ribbon and gave it to his friend as an Easter gift. His friend John was playing with the bell when it hit him in the eye and he lost the sight in the eye. When John took action against Lindt for the loss of sight in his eye, Lindt stated that there was a warning 'bells and ribbons are for decorative purposes and are not toys' located on the bottom of the Chocolate Bunny and were not liable. John had not seen this warning.
