When importing the pin assignments file for the DE2-board, t is important to use Advanced Import Set-tings To do so, click the Advanced button on the Import Assignments screen as shown in Figure I. Then, check Global assignments check box as shown in Figure 2 and press the OK button. Please note that omitting this step on a DE2-board may cause a compile time error.
