Deadlocks can occur in many real-life scenarios. One person is waiting on another, who is waiting on the first person. And nobody ever does anything because their actions are both dependent on the other taking action!

This week, youll come up with your own real-life deadlock scenario in part 1. Then youll solve two of your classmates posted scenarios in part 2.

Part 1

In your initial post, describe a real-world system or situation where deadlock might occur. Explain the scenario. Include all rules in your system and explain why the system is not deadlock-free through an example.
