DECOMPLICATUION PIZZA

Based on the book: General Motors: From Birth to Bankruptcy in 2009 (Case 18 of Charles Hill and Gareth Jones, Strategic Management, 2010) , large company challenges, and the appeal of High-Velocity Organizations, do the following:

QUESTION

1) Pick another large company that you believe shows signs/symptoms of these challenges found in the book.

1.1) Describe, what the main 'complicating' issues are and what 'decomplicated' objectives are desirable.

2) Formulate a 'decomplication' pizza, that is specific to your chosen company. The idea is to chunk out the issues that create complexity, so that they can be addressed one-by-one, in an efficient manner, to yield a productive outcome.

2.1) include a custom-created graphic with the summary actions. Keep your pizza slices between 5 and 7, and they MUST address all the challenges that the company's principals must address.

2.2) follow with an explanatory table that lists the specific factor(s) that the each pizza slice addresses, and the related gains (toward high-performance) that the company will experience.
