Deetand Picaridin are two lotions which are used for mosquito repellant.Use the following information to determine if Deet, on average, works equally as well as and Picaridin for repelling mosquitos.

For the study, two sets of people were selected to participate.Each person was either randomly assigned to apply Deet or Picaridin, then all people were placed in an enclosed room and exposed to the same number of mosquitos for the same amount of time.

People who used Deet were found to have an average of 3.6 mosquito bites at the conclusion of the experiment.Eighteen people made up this group.

For the thirty people in the group assigned to use Picaridin, the average number of mosquito bites was 3.2.Both groups were found to have a standard deviation of .8 mosquito bites.Use a 5% level of significance and the P-value method.
