Stacy works for a local private family medicine practice as one of the medical coders. Today an emergency staff meeting was called by Dr. Henry and Dr. Michaels, two senior staff providers and partners in the practice.

Recently, Dr. Jones informed the other partners of his decision to retire. Due to financial constraints, the practice had delayed implementing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and updating technology within the office. With Dr. Jones retiring, these upgrades would become even more challenging to achieve. Dr. Henry, Dr. Michaels, and the remaining partners have merged with a larger clinic nearby.

As the Assistant HIM Manager, you will act as the change agent for the HIM department during this transition. You decide to refresh your knowledge of the different change models to predict the employees' reactions and prepare a response.
