Denial is the one I think I see the most of. Problems are something that nobody wants in their lives. It might be quite easy to believe that if you don't acknowledge the issue, it won't exist. I've done this a lot of times with bodily discomfort. You convince yourself things like "I might be making this up," "It won't really hurt," etc. You convince yourself that there is nothing wrong because you don't want anything serious to be happening with you. Deception, in my opinion, is most frequently observed in intimate relationships. People will ignore so many warning signs because they don't want their sky-high fortress to come crashing down.
