They have worked from the beginning as a front-line worker in providing quality care to the patient. It is highly appreciating and a matter of proud if we look to the history of nurses and their contribution for the society from centuries. The work of the nurses and their leadership quality has become an example for today's nursing profession. They are motivation and inspire us to do more better and improve the services to the patient. The nurse of the past has not only taken care of the health of individuals but they are also involved in improving the heath of the family as well as community. The main target of the nurses in the 19th century is to provide primary health care services and educate the society about the health care. They are found to be actively involved in providing advices and counselling to have better heath. The quality heath care service is not possible without nurses. The emergence of nursing as a modern occupational group occurred in 19 th century (Traynor 2019). Therefore, the service provided by the nurses from past are indispensable. Many people have wrong idea that nurses are only for providing care to the patients in the hospital. But in reality, they are important part of the heath care services holding important positions or working in collaboration with other heath care professional. Nurses
