A plastic injection machine has the option of working with several molds, it has ONLY a pair of switches that depending on the combination of the two, it is possible to select one of the four possible products: 00 is for mold 1 01 is for mold 2 10 is for mold 3 11 is for mold 4  When the operator selects what type of mold is installed, the door closes by a door sensor that activates when he presses the button that starts the injection sequence. The injection sequence begins with the closing of the mold, which is done with a spindle driven by a three-phase motor in clockwise direction for 3 seconds. Then the injection sequence is activated according to the mold: The injector has 4 single-acting cylinders that extrude the hot material into the mold. Mold No.1 requires to inject in the following sequence A+ B+ AB- CD+ CD- Mold No.2 requires to inject in the following sequence A+ B+ C+ D+ ABCD- Mold No.3 requires to inject in the following sequence A+ B+ B- A- Mold No.4 requires to inject in the following sequence A+ A- B+ B- C+ C- Each of these four at the time it is selected is executed twice automatically. At the end of injecting, the system must wait 5 seconds for it to cool down and then open the mold for the operator to remove the product. The opening of the mold is done with the three-phase motor moving the spindle in counterclockwise direction for 3 seconds. When its opening the mold, the system waits for the operator to remove the part and close the door again and press the start button. The system has a 7-segment display that indicates which mold selection has been made: At 00 the display must shown on the number 1 At 01 the display must shown on the number 2 At 10 the display must shown on the number 3 At 11 the display must shown on the number 4
