Design a power plant to meet the requirement of 500 MW power. Determine the pertinent parameters of power plant keeping in view the proposed design and solutions of steam power plant. Analyze the influence of the important parameters (i.e., Operational cost, Temperature range 1000-1100oF, Pressure range 2500-3000psi, pipe diameter, boiler type and any other) on maximum efficiency. Design a power plant to meet the requirement of 500 MW power, considering appropriate blade angles, no of stages of turbines whereas the blade efficiency 80%.
