1. Design a research project which has a focus on analyzing media content (music, radio, online video, news, TV shows, films etc.). Which i will then need to begin by narrowing the topic to a specific focus within this broad topic. I am expected to address each step of the research process in the design for this project. I am expected to discuss and evaluate 3 of the techniques for data collection.  Content analysis-
   (quantitative) counting words, images etc. these are some of the techniques i could follow:
   • Textual/visual Analysis - qualitative analysis of meanings, themes, representation etc.
   • Discourse analysis- study of interaction & implied meaning
   • Political economy- focus on power, regulation & profit as impacting content
   • Genre & form analysis-Content constrained by genre & form.
2. Also indicate which of these techniques I would use for my proposed research and why. What challenges might I face in conducting this research? How might I address them?
