"My communication plan was in short to think about all the facts I had first, reach out to the CEO to inform her, set up a meeting with the director and then a meeting with the director and his team. Lastly, to have a meeting with the executive team and the CEO to discuss our code of ethics and consequences for disclosing sensitive information to those not in the decision-making process. I choose to be as open and honest as possible with the director and his team without releasing any additional information that they may not have been aware of yet. I was pretty direct, professional, open and sensitive when speaking with everyone. The communication plan I went forward with was the best because I got my boss to be a support for me, I projected a safe environment where we could really discuss all the concerns and questions of the team and director. As well as a stern and serious setting for the executive team. The biggest risks to my communication plan was either involving the CEO when I may not have needed to since I was the COO
