Develop a case study on the user experience of Pokemon Go. You should address the following points and include any others that you come across during your research.(Human Computer Interaction)

1. Include a short introduction to your work 2. Explain your research methodology. For example: Did you look up articles online? Did you read research papers? Did you play the game yourself? Are you already an expert level player? Did you interview other players (that you know of or found communities online)? Did you create a small group and get everyone to start playing the game and followed up with interviews etc. 3. Explain how Pokemon Go uses augmented reality, and how effective its use is. 4. Apart from the use of augmented reality, what other aspects of the game are designed to draw users in and keep them interested? 5. Does the game encourage any behavior modification in players? 6. The game is not very friendly in terms of new players being able to figure out how to play the game. Explain how it manages to be so successful despite this. 7. What features in the game keep players engaged in the longer term? 8. Find and describe examples of good user experience and interaction design in the game on a specific level, in terms of specific features (e.g., selecting a Pokemon to discard it is well designed because ) 9. What changes were made to the game when the pandemic started, and why? 10. Explore how the Pokemon Go gaming community impacts the user experience. 11. Explore how locations are made part of the game. Explore the crowd sourcing aspect. If you have played or interacted with local players, you can comment on how this impacts the local user experience. You can also comment generally on how location factors in into individual user experiences. Explore how work already done in an earlier Niantic game, Ingress, has been used in Pokemon Go, and how it is being incorporated into new games as well. 12. Add an appendix to the end of your document, detailing your gameplay over the week so you have examples within your experiment that you can refer to in the main part of your document. This would include for example, your player details, stats, the best Pokemon you have, demos of augmented reality etc. 15. Even when you are writing in your own words, make citations to indicate where you got the information from If you are using any text or graphic as is, indicate very clearly that it is reproduced and cite the source There are a lot of articles online from 2016 when Pokemon Go was first released. While it is fine and will be useful to go through them, double check before using information from them because many aspects of the game have changed/improved since then Your report should be turned in as a PDF or MS Word document You should aim for around 3000-5000 words for the report, however, the grading will be done on the quality and clarity of the content and not the length Use clear headings to organize your report The marking for this report will be dependent on a written viva conducted in one week after the report has been submitted
