Develop a list of required and desired attributes and a list of external constraints for a new product line of pocket calculators. Assume that the calculator is to compete with calculators currently on the market. Keep each list to two pages or less. State why each attribute is required or desired $($what problem it addresses$)$ and why each constraint is necessary.

Frequently the design process may be made much easier if constraints can be relaxed. Thus, every good design team tries to relax the constraints so as to increase the space of admissible solutions. Make sure that your constraints aren't merely wishes but are real constraints.
