Question
Develop a VI to find the roots of the quadratic equation: where the constants a, b, and c are real numbers and a > 0.
Develop a VI to find the roots of the quadratic equation: where the constants a, b, and c are real numbers and a > 0. The two roots of the equation can be either real or complex numbers. The VI should have three numeric controls and two numeric indicators. Save the VI as Quadratic Formula.vi in the Users Stuff folder in the Learning directory. Hint: After you place the numeric indicators on the front panel, right click on each indicator and in the shortcut menu select RepresentationComplex Single. This will allow you to display the roots as complex numbers (as well as real numbers).
This will require VI Labview software. I was able to just . put the numeric controls and indicators. I am not sure how to put letter constants and finish the problem?? This question has been asked, but it was not done through labview. Instead it was either done algebraically or through C++ which is not what I am looking for. Thanks in advance.
