Two of the fabrication technologies used to fabricate Logic gates IC’s are Low power Schottky (LS) and CMOS. IC’s manufactured using both the technologies are readily available in market. However, there are some basic differences between the devices manufactured through LS and CMOS technology. Consider the OR gate IC’s 74LS32 and 74HC32, study their datasheet and compare at least five different parameters (such as Supply Voltage, Minimum and Maximum Input Voltage, Operating Temperature Range, power Consumption, etc.). Based on your comparison, conclude which of the fabrication technology is better, and explain why that is so, especially in terms of power consumption and switching characteristics.
