Perform the following activities as part of the planning process:

1. Assess and select appropriate methods according to the risk context
2. Direct the identification, documentation, and analysis of risk as the basis for planning
3. Direct, support, and mentor project managers in the analysis, evaluation and treatment of risks
4. Ensure risk management is visible and timely
5. Develop and maintain a risk management system across the program.
