Before the 20^th century, juveniles had minimal rights, as seen within the eyes of society and the court system. Changes within the Juvenile Justice System were seen from the early days of English Common Law, through Colonial America and the Industrial Revolution, and finally to the present day.

You are to writ a five hundred and fifty word essay addressing the following:

• Discuss how the Juvenile Justice system has evolved from English Common Law to present day.
• Describe how the criminal justice system treated juveniles prior to the creation of the juvenile justice system.

In essay, include at least 2 scholarly references with proper a p a citations. These resources can come from our lectures and other course materials. This will be a formal essay with an introduction, body, and conclusion.
