Directions Review the following Article: Warehouse Layout Design Planning In this assignment, after reviewing the article, choose U-shaped, I-shaped, or L-shaped design and create a warehouse layout. This does not have to be to scale. You may use any form of media to create your warehouse (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, hand drawing, and so on). You are encouraged to be creative but, also make sure you meet the objective of this lesson. Your warehouse layout should have the following items within the design: . Overhead delivery door . Access door . Washroom . Main storage areas for bulky items such as lumber, parts bins, and shelving . Inbound Receiving area . Outbound Freight Area . Office Space . Security . Transportation . Anything else they choose to include Your design should be neat, professional, labeled, and easy to read.
