Directions The Goal of the Strategy Guide is for you the student to craft something you will use during the duration of the course. You will organize your information and submit it as one complete document for evaluation.

In Module 7 you will submit a final version of your Strategy Guide that must include the following information in each section. You should work on this throughout the course. You may either use the Strategy Guide Template Download Strategy Guide Template or create a document of your own; however, you must make sure that all of the components are accounted for schedule.

Required Sections Personal Mission Statement In Module 1, you will think about your purpose and design a statement that reflects you as a person. For Example - "To share knowledge exponentially, have it reflect back at me and like what I see...." This is my personal mission statement. Have you ever thought "What is my point?" This is a creative space to share your thoughts.

The Five-Year Plan In Module 2, you will think about your Five Year Plan. How will you know if you arrived if you need to know where you are going? In this section, you will look forward to the future and share what you would like it to look like. Include all aspects that are important to you, education, family, religion, volunteering, hobbies, etc. Include a timeline with SMART Goals and allow yourself to dream.

Four Core (Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling) and Soft Skills During Modules 2-6, you will gather information or resources pertaining to the fundamentals of Management. It would be best if you created a separate section for each of the Four Cores and Soft Skills. Each section should include a sub-section list of Individual, Team, and Company resources. For example, In "Planning," the "Company" section may have a link to free organizational charts or various types of charts. For example: In "Organization" the "Individual" section may have tools for Personal Time Management, or "Soft Skills" may include resources related to Boundary Setting.

Managerial Philosophy and Course Reflection In Module 7, you will pull your entire strategy guide together and think about your overall philosophy. Managerial Philosophy: You will craft a personal managerial philosophy based on tools, strategies, and information received in the course. This section should be a paragraph or two. Course Reflection: Look back on the course and reflect on what you learned and what you'll take with you into your future in management.
