We completed the first two lectures on contract law. We discussed the importance of understanding and identifying the elements of a contract, as well as the significance of the elements and terms being definite and specific. We've also gone through an introduction to the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and how it has essentially "expanded" on the common law applications of contract law. It's now time to put what you've learned into practice.

In a detailed and well-worded essay of at least 550 words, please address the following prompts:

• Identify and define the six elements of a contract.
• Explain why it is important that all the elements of a contract must be present and readily identifiable for a valid and legitimate contract to move forward between the two parties involved.
• Summarize and present the origins of the UCC
• Provide dates of the UCC's writing and approval by the state of Louisiana, and at least one adjoining state
