Disaster Risk Management A training of trainers was carried out on prevention of Gender Based Violence (GBV) for 20 Protection Focal Points (PFP) in five departments (Grand'Anse, Nippes, Sud, Sud-Este et Ouest) during February and March 2023. Additional PFP will be trained for the other five departments of the country in the coming months. Trained PFP will train the 140 committees across the country to prevent and respond to GBV during emergencies. The National Center for Geospatial Information (CNIGS) counts now with a Drone's Lab and trained staff on the use of the following 5 drones: 2 DJI Phantom PRO, 1 DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual,1 DJI Matrice 300 RTK and 1 Trinity F90+. The CNIGS is preparing a plan to provide drone services in Haiti. Training of masons and construction of local improved houses (TLCA) in rural areas in the southern part of the country affected by the 2021 earthquake is progressing to reach the construction of 250 houses and train 7000 masons. The Multifunction Center for the General Directorate Civil Protection (DGPC) has been finalized providing space for training and other uses by the DGPC.
