Classmate: One of the adaptive leadership abilities that I think would be challenging is giving the work back to the people. I feel there is a balance in this leadership ability. You must provide direction to your team and then step back and let them grow. If the leader does not make themselves available, they to help with issues or remove the roadblocks the team can feel frustrated and could cause them to lose motivation. If the leader is around too much, then the team will never learn to solves problems on their own or feel micromanaged and again lost motivation on accomplishing the task. My response: For me, the most challenging aspect of regulating distress would be maintaining my own emotional equilibrium while supporting my team. I tend to internalize stress, which can make it difficult to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Additionally, I find it challenging to gauge the appropriate level of stress for different individuals, as everyone has unique thresholds and coping mechanisms
