Love Hurts

Ben Carter is a 40-year-old male from Tampa Florida. Hes divorced with two kids. Ben has been through a lot in his life with being in love with a woman. Hes compassionate and very caring. Ben has been married twice and dont know if a third try is worth chancing. He feels like know matter where he looks, he gets involved with the wrong woman after putting his heart and soul into it for years. This can be very tough for a loving man that puts his all-in relationships to get heart broken.

Ben first marriage lasted for almost four years with Carla. Shes about seven years older than Ben. He met her with the intent of spending the rest of his life with her. She had a daughter already at the age of seven. They met through a coworker. They went on a couple of dates and things seemed to be going ok. Ben was young and wasnt ready to be settled. He had just lost his job and gotten out of a bad relationship.

During the process of all this drama in bens life, Carla was there for him. Ben had a bad accident and totaled his car. Carla shared her car with him until he was able to get another ride. Ben was really feeling Carla and began to get attached to her. Ben felt the love coming quicker than he expected. He finally met her daughter Jennifer for the first time. Everything went well and the daughter asked Ben to join her and her mother for dinner. Ben was quite flattered and accepted the offer. Ben spent time with Carla and her daughter together and alone with the two, so they can get more acquainted and build a relationship.

As months went by, Ben and Carla got closer and he fell in loved with Jennifer. Everything was going well with the three, like a happy family. After a year and a half, Ben and Carla got married. The family grew close and things were on the upside for them. Ben got a new job and a new car. The three were able to spend so much time tighter. Ben got a promotion on his job. Carla and ben decided to go house shopping. This was a great start for the newly weds with their daughter. They were approved to get a home built. Everybody was extremely happy, and they were excited about creating their floor plans for their new home.

As a few years went by, things took a turn for the couple. Ben was having problems with Jennifer obeying him and Carla wasnt making the situation any better. They stayed getting into arguments about her daughter and Ben felt that things were getting out of control. Carla started coming home late and making up excuses about working late. The couple was going down a different road then from the beginning. Ben loved his wife and stepdaughter so much. He set down with his wife to have a talk about making their marriage work and the problems with her daughter. Things took a turn and things began to get worse.

Ben started finding things out about Carla and he was getting tired of trying to make things work. Carla started disrespecting ben by, getting drunk and cursing him daily. Ben suspected Carla was having an affair. He questioned her about it several times and she lied and told him he was just being stupid. At this point, Ben knew things were over and there was nothing left to do but make the right decision for his. About a week later, Ben told Carla that he was done with the marriage and he was filing for a divorce. She threatened him and he had to get law enforcement involved. There werent any charges pressed just a nasty break up. The couple got a divorce and Ben got into a lot of debt behind it. He left her the house but, she wasnt paying the mortgage. Ben got in so much debt that he had to file bankruptcy.

A few moths later, Ben met another woman by the name of Lisa. Lisa was a few years younger than Ben. She had a two-year-old son name Tim. Ben talked to Lisa about his former marriage and told her, he would like to take things a little slow. She agreed and told him she completely understands where he is coming from. They dated for a little while and took things slow. After about a year, things started to move a little faster. Two years later the couple moved in together. Things were going good for them and Ben was happy to be in Tims life. Tim started calling Ben daddy. Lisa came home one day and gave the family good news. They were having a baby. Everyone was excited. They found out they were having a baby girl. Ben was finally getting the family he dreamed of, at least thats what he thought.

Two years later, the couple started having problems. Lisa wanted to party a lot and hang out. It was causing so many problems for the family. They argued all the time. They went to marriage counseling twice. That didnt work at all for the couple. Ben was at the end of the road with the relationship. He loved his family and wanted it to work but, he couldnt do it alone. He told Lisa he was going to leave her, and she didnt care. She told him to go ahead and leave. When Ben was about to leave, he found out Lisa was pregnant with another girl. You would have thought that would have fixed the family, but it didnt.

Ben found out that Lisa was cheating with multiple guys. He had all he could take, and he packed his bags and left. Ben got a lawyer and filed for a divorced. Lisa took the kids and moved away. They really hurt Ben because he was so attached to his girls and her son. He found out she was living a wildlife. He took her to court and got full custody of his daughters. Ben was so hurt but, at least he got two beautiful daughters he could love.
