Human resource is a critical role in workforce planning. As an human resource professional we would be in charge of the duties that pertain to hiring, onboarding, and retention. The first thing as a human resource professional needs to recognize the components of a job which are KSAO, Knowledge, skills, Abilities and other characteristics. KSAO stands for knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics. We need to understand the work and what needs to be done, then we can look into how, when, and where. Once the overview of the work is understood than we can start changing the structure of team. This is when we can find out if we need to switch the team around to complete the project or if we need to hire new staff. If new staff are required than we would need to look into it being part time or full time.
