Discussion - Ethics in the Healthcare Industry

What is your definition of ethics? Next, define and examine the four ethical models of a physician-patient relationship. Please provide a contemporary example of an unethical situation(s) in the healthcare industry? Using the Decision Model for Healthcare Dilemmas, the PLUS ethical decision-making model, present why this contemporary example is considered unethical. Some topics of interest include, but not limited to: preservation of life with limits, euthanasia, advance directives, futility of treatment, withholding and withdrawal of treatment, and do-not-resuscitate orders, etc.
