The monitoring and event management practice is an important practice that systematically observes services and service components and records and reports on changes in the state of those components.

An event is defined as any change in state that has significance for the management of a service or a configuration item.

Consider again the IT service in applying for admission to NJIT. Give an example of an informational event, a warning event, and an exception event in regard to any service component for this IT service.

This is the same as question #2a, but instead consider the IT service of registering for classes at NJIT. Try not to repeat the same events, even though they may be applicable.
