Discussion one page

For the second graded discussion you should select articles based on the material we are covering in the second half of the term. In very general terms, we are covering market structures and how they affect price and output determination. In addition, we are studying some applied microeconomic topics on the role of public policy and government and their relationship to markets. You will literally find millions of articles on these topics, both national and international. The discussion forum will provide you with the opportunity to discuss these issues as you learn them and the forum will be open on the dates noted in the syllabus.The basic guidelines are the same as those for discussion 1:

Discussion postings will require you to read about and discuss current macroeconomic issues or events. You should draw material from reputable sources and media outlets. You will be asked to post a comment on an article published in the media during the week of the discussion is open. In addition to posting your own comment you will have to respond to one other learners.
