Discussions with Client: ASA 230 also requires the documentation of significant matters discussed with the client. This includes the nature of the significant matters, when and with whom the discussions took place, and how the auditor responded to significant matters. The documentation should be sufficient to enable an experienced auditor, having no previous connection with the audit, to understand these discussions.
