What are some strategies you use to resolve conflict within your organization and in life in general? Why do you find these strategies to be the most effective?

1. At my job we always collaborate to resolve conflicts. This strategy is effective for us because we always do everything as a team; we never want anyone else to feel overwhelmed or like they have to do everything on their own. This helps make everything feel fair and like we can solve issues together, no matter what. I also like to take a collaborative approach in life. I feel collaborating tends to solve problems for good rather than prolonging the conflict, leaving the other person feeling unsatisfied, or feeling like the conflict hasn't been resolved.
2. At work,I use a lot of accommodation because I am trying to do my job, and I do not like to hear people complain about their jobs.I take on a lot of the more complex issues because of this. It also makes everyone else happy, and I like to see people happy. At home,I use a lot of force because I am not a fan of change.I do not think these are very effective, but I am working on compromising and collaborating because I know I need to for my work and personal relationships.
