Diversity in the Workplace

According to the sources below could you please advise why is workplace diversity an important issue for managers? Businesses that embrace diversity have more success in the workplace than any others. As a new manager at XYZ Company, you have been asked to assist in refreshing your firm's diversity policies.

The Vice President's request requires that you (1) define workforce diversity,

(2) submit three suggestions to be included in your firm's diversity policy manual, and

(3) support your reason(s) for the submissions.
