Diversity means to me that you have different cultures, religions or skin tones surrounding you. That it's not just one kind of person putting out ideas out there that it varies with different mindsets. I'll always advocate for diversity because when you don't have people that are like you around you you can become quieter or reserved because you know your mindset clashes with others. It does causes you to adapt to people around you which can be good or bad thing. If you have people that are like you can become more social and confident with your opinions. Such as, being in an office as the only black person cause me to be reserved because we don't have a lot in common. It has caused me to adapt to the people here, but still be able to stick true to me as well and not become a whole different person while working here.
