Do some research on Moore's Law. I'll start with giving the casual, abbreviated definition: Gordon Moore, co-founder of Intel, noted in the mid 1960s that roughly every 18-24 months, computing power doubles. The number of transistors on an integrated circuit doubles while the chip stays the same size. Or, the chip can hold as many transistors as before but the chip is now half the size. This explains why you have a smartphone - likely with a multi-core processor, 4-8GB of RAM, an HD video display, 64GB or more of storage, 10MP or larger camera, and the ability to connect to cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC networks - that fits in your pocket.
Moore's Law has held true for over 55 years and can be observed throughout society in areas other than computers.
Other than computers and smartphones, find an example of Moore's Law in another aspect of society. Focus on the changes and improvements. Some suggested topics are: aviation, automobiles, home appliances, medical or industrial equipment, food production, and manufacturing or building construction. Explain why you feel the changes follow the observation of Moore's Law.
