Packet Tracer: Peer to Peer configurations - Please submit packet tracer file for Parti and Part2 for grading. Part 1: Peer to peer confiquration: 151 1. Open Packet tracer. 2. Pull 2 PCs on your workspace. 3. Using a crossover cable, connect the 2 PCs to each other. Choose to connect to the Ethernet ports. 4. Click on PCO, go to Desktop and choose the IP configuration. 5. Click on Static. 6. Enter the IP address: 192.168.1.2 7. Enter Subnet mask as 255.255.255.0. 8. Follow the above steps on PC1. (Enter the IP address 192.168.1.3 for PC1.) 9. Open command prompt on PCO. 10. Ping PC1 from PCO command prompt. Ping must be successful. 11. Open command prompt on PC1. 12. Ping PCO from PC1 command prompt. Ping must be successful. Part 2: Peer to peer configuration using a switch: (5) 1. Open a new workspace on Packet tracer. 2. Pull 2 PCs on your workspace. 3. Pull a switch on the workspace. 4. Using a copper straight through Connect PC2 to the switch. Choose to connect to the Fast Ethernet port. 5. Connect PC3 to the switch using another copper straight through. Choose to connect to another Fast Ethernet port. 6. Check for connectivity 7. Click on PC1, go to Desktop and choose the IP configuration. 8. Click on Static. 9. Enter the IP address: 192.168.1.4 10. Enter Subnet mask as 255.255.255.0. 11. Follow the above steps on PC3. (Enter the IP address 192.168.1.5 for PC3.) 12. Open command prompt on PC2. Ping PC3 from PC2 command prompt. Ping must be successful. 13. Open command prompt on PC3. Ping PC2 from PC3 command prompt. Ping must be successful
