Do ths following using SVN command line on mac ox: 1. Create a subversion repository. 2. Create and place a file in the repository (any text file will do). 3. Retrieve that file from the repository and modify it. 4. Return the file to the repository. If you use the command line version of Subversion (strongly recommended), you can use the Unix (linux) script command to create a transcript of your terminal session, which you can then print out. Note that your transcript may contain quite a bit of what looks like corrupting garbage; it isn't garbage, it is non-printing characters. You need not edit your transcript to get rid of these non-printing characters (I am already accustomed to reading transcripts containing piles of non-printing characters made visible). For information on the script command, use "man script." Note that the Linux machines in the WEB lab have Subversion installed and operational. The svn and svnadmin commands do work.
