Do you agree?

Created In 2002 the Department of the Homeland Security was created after the effect of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The DHS was created to enforce laws to prevent future terrorist attacks and related criminal activities, reduce vulnerability to terrorist attacks, minimize the harm caused by such attacks, and assist in recovery in the event of a terrorist attack (Cheesman, 2018). I will say that these criticisms are valid arguments, but they were also needed during that period. During this time America wanted to appear less vulnerable to another potential attack. The 22 agencies that the DHS consisted of specifically focused on and regulated powers over key areas to protect within the country and perform in. Not all information is to be shared between these agencies openly, due to possible security risk and breaches.
