2. TELECOMMUTING

By utilizing communication technologies like email, phone, chat, and video applications, a worker may perform job tasks from locations other than the conventional office. So many work-related activities can now be completed outside of the typical office more efficiently than ever because to the widespread growth of the internet, as well as developments in unified communications (UC), artificial intelligence, and robots. Especially well-suited to working from home or other distant places are knowledge workers. Telecommuting is not recommended for jobs that need the actual physical operation of particular equipment, including cars.

Advantages: Boosts productivity, increases well being, reduced material and environmental costs, increases employee retention, better work life balance, flexible schedule, work from anywhere and much more.

Disadvantages: As it could boost productivity it can also reduce it, feeling of isolation, communication can decrease, no work environment, social disengagement, not being able to control your work time from the employer.

In today's workforce, being a part of a remote team was already typical. However until recently, businesses weren't required to work outside of their offices; they had no choice but to do so. And it's true that leading a remote team may be difficult, especially when you want to conduct "business as usual" and give your staff the impression that they are all working toward the same objectives.

Some examples of this would be communication, tracking work and productivity, building a company culture, scheduling issues, forming a trust, holding meetings and much more.
