1. The conflict issue is an often situation that happens in the workplace. I used to work for the managing office of a Brazilian bank. Which is a very conflictive place to work every day. We had clients from upper classes and with higher cash power. It was a complicate and stressful environment to be part of. Although, many cases were handling according to each particular problem, and it differ from one person to another. Personally, I avoid conflicts as much as I can. This is I do not like drama and feels a bit of exaggeration all the time. For example, if my coworker had to finish some money transaction, reports, or minor problems that affected my client, and he forgot due to lack of professionalism. I would talk nicely in the first time and firm in the next time because it affected my work performance. Also, if he did not finish his task, I had to report him to the manager. I kept this behavior to assure he knew that is the flow of work and attitude from me. It avoids many future problems. With all that, the negotiation steps to manage decisions towards projects or a financial matter in our department seems to be more efficient. There are some extraordinary approaches to achieve great outcome from conflicts at work and finalize after excellent negotiation. For instance: Do not try to solve a problem alone, it can create more harm than a good solution. Listen actively, it is essential to understand how the problem happen and how to present an efficient response to it. By negotiation within reason. Do not leave emotions out of the equation, it is important to access feelings and adequate it to the right proportion. Consequently, less heated moments in the next confusion. It allows parties to show empathy and see coworkers as friends and not as enemy. Capitalize on differences. Such as, identifying each personal value and attribute to the company. In my workplace we are aware that any conflictive situation can happen and it is normal in any workplace or it can also happen with a client or coworker within the same company and these types of problems are much more common than we think. . In fact, it is a logical consequence of the hours we spend at work with our colleagues, since not all of them are peaceful and relaxed. There is also room for disagreements, arguments and conflicts.

For this, we work and focus on certain behaviors to deal with when an event like this or similar happens. Of course there are environments, tasks and disciplines more conducive to knowing how to resolve labor conflicts, either because of the intensity of the work, the physical environment in which we develop them or the type of relationships that are established in it.

In the conflictive moment we take several steps to negotiate effectively and to be able to reach an agreement where the parties can focus on the situation and can reach a clear agreement without future problems. In this way, the first step is to talk to the person about the situation or problem that is occurring; Second, we focus on the behavior and the event, not the personality; third, we listen to both sides carefully; four, we identify the points on which we agree or disagree; fifth, we prioritize the areas of conflict and focus on the problem as such; six, a work plan is developed for that conflict or problem or for several conflicts if it is the case; seven, we focus on the plan and follow the steps to develop the solution to the problem; Eight, problem solving that leads to success.
