Do you agree with the strategies they discussed? Why or why not?
I found during my Project Management time that multiple sources of communication were necessary for the project to succeed. The email was an important form of communication especially when reports were due and information needed to be shared with multiple people, team members, and departments. One of the main reasons email was so useful was the time change issues between the United States and the United Kingdom. This helped everyone to get info and be able to stay working during some normal working hours. The six-hour time change was a little challenge but we also planned Zoom meetings when everyone was in the office and planned them ahead of time so everyone would have it on their schedules and be available.
Another good source of communication as we had a prescheduled in-person meeting at the location site every other month to talk over and see with our own eyes the progress and/or questions and concerns.
And of course, good old phone calls were also used when necessary. Overall, with the time difference and the difficulty that the emails were our most efficient form of communication.
