They have built a new production facility with two acres of landscaped property and an extensive computer network Jeremy Jones is the son of a friend of the owner of the Magic Widget Company, Jeremy is a computer expert and keeps the new network running smoothly. Sometimes he needs to be on site but often he can access the computers remotely when no one's using them Jeremy has his own computer equipment at his home The Magic Widget Company purchases hardware and software for the business on Jeremy's recommendation. When the business purchases new software Jeremy is able to install the software on me company computers. If a computer isn't working properly Jeremy may be able to fix it remotely, take it off site to work on it or come in to the office to fixit Once a month he tells the owner how much time he's put into maintaining the Magic Widget Companies computers and receives payment for this work after the owner directs the accounts payable manager to issue a cheque Your task: You work in the payroll department and have been asked to tesearch and report on whether determy should be considered an employee or a contracce.
