Does salary relate to performance among baseball players? Data from the 1991-2 major league baseball teams were compiled by Mitchell R. Watnik, (1998) for an article appearing in the Journal of Statistics Education. For this practice, I randomly selected some data points from the original dataset. Player salaries were grouped into five levels (1=lowest, 5=highest, variable name: Salary_G), and the dependent variable to use is the number of the home run (variable name: Home_run).
