Doing a workbook analysis for a company. It says the projected price for units is $20 with an expected annual increase of 3% during the life of the project. My question is did I calculate the price growth and price correctly on the first one? Or would it perhaps be 3%, 6%, 9% etc? Also it says fixed costs are 100 and will increase by 2% per year over the life of the project. My teacher did this part in class and he left it as 2% for each one. If you could explain why it doesn't go 2%, 4%, 6% etc that would help. Im confused because there were other parts in the problem where the percentages would go up if that makes sense. I'm calculating these all in excel by using formulas/cell referencing.
