Dr. Bob Goodchild is an obstetrician on staff at Main Street General Hospital. As part of his privileges, he is provided with a private office. This office comes with an assistant, who is an employee of the hospital. Dr. Goodchild reimburses the hospital for his assistant's salary. Recently, Dr. Goodchild has become dissatisfied with his assistant's performance. He goes to the HR department manager, who reviews the concerns and dismisses the employee for cause. The employee now sues the hospital and Dr. Goodchild for wrongful dismissal
