Dr. Meredith Grey is a 76-year-old woman that presented to the outpatient clinic for reports of problems with attention/concentration (e.g., problems focusing for long periods and is easily distractible), processing speed (e.g., tasks taking much longer than before), and memory loss over the past 2-3 years. She will forget details of conversations and can be repetitive, but her memory improves with hints and clues. She denied any word finding difficulty (e.g., tip of the tongue phenomenon). Her family does not believe that her symptoms are getting gradually worse, but rather dropped off and then plateaued. Since the onset of symptoms, Dr. Grey has seen a marked decline in daily functioning including managing finances, managing medications (e.g., forgetting to take medications), and taking care of the home. She sustained one fall around eight months ago, where she hit the front of her head that did not result in loss of consciousness, retrograde amnesia, or post-traumatic amnesia. Dr. Grey did not require hospitalization and her neuroimaging at the emergency department was negative for acute findings
