Draw a sletch of the piezometer showing static water level, piezometer casing width, auger hole width, auger hole with with sand, griund surface, and length

Draw a sletch of the piezometer showing static water level, piezometer casing width, auger hole width, auger hole with with sand, griund surface, and length of piezometer slitted screen. list the measurements for L, r^2, and R. Following the Hvorslev equation what is the ratio of the L/R for this problem? image text in transcribed
Problem Students at Colorado School of Mines (CSM) conducted a slug test in a 2-in. diameter piezometer that was installed in a relatively homogeneous, isotropic, silty sand using an 8-in. outer diameter hollow-stem auger (tool used to excavate the hole that the piezometer goes Into). The piezometer was installed to a total depth of 40 ft. below ground surface (bes), and the well is screened from 29.5 ft. to 39.5 ft. bgs. The screened section of the well is surrounded by a gravel pack of 10-20 mesh-size sand from 28.5 ft. to 40 ft, bes. Field observations made by the site geologist during well installation indicate that the well is installed in an unconfined aquifer. I The following measurements were recorded in the field prior to conducting a slug test. Height of piezometer casing above ground surface: 2 ft. Initial depth to static water level (below top of casing (btoc)): 8.15 ft
