Drexel Studios is a small, student-run movie studio that is considering 10 different projects. 3 of these projects are by Drexel students and the remaining 7 are by non-student, local filmmakers. The following table lists the movie projects and the projected box office revenue for each project: Student NO Movie The Speckerman Recurrence The Shiny Trinket Maneuver The Recombination Hypothesis The Beta Test Initiation The Friendship Contraction The Vacation Solution The Rothman Disintegration The Werewolf Transformation The Weekend Vortex I The Transporter Malfunction Box Office Revenue $20.0.0.0 $30.000 $15.000 $10.000 $25,000 $18,000 $25,000 $50,000 $20,000 $30,000 NO NO Since three of the movies are student projects that are already affiliated with the University, they will receive priority (but not necessarily guaranteed to be produced). Each movie needs to be edited using one or more of the editing facilities on the Drexel Campus. Editing Room 1 has 60 days available, and Editing Rooms 2 and 3 each have 40 days available. The following table gives the number of days each movie project will use each editing room. For example, "The Speckerman Recurrence" would need 30 days in Editing Room 1 AND 40 days in Editing Room 2, but would not need to use Editing Room 3. Editing Room 1 Editing Room 2 Editing Room 3 Movie The Speckerman Recurrence The Shiny Trinket Maneuver The Recombination Hypothesis The Beta Test Initiation The Friendship Contraction The Vacation Solution The Rothman Disintegration The Werewolf Transformation The Weekend Vortex The Transporter Malfunction There is some overlap between the directors of the projects, so Drexel has decided that they cannot support more than two of the following projects: "The Recombination Hypothesis", "The Beta Test Initiation", and "The Friendship Contraction. Similarly, they don't want to support both "The Rothman Disintegration" and "The Werewolf Transformation." Because of a long-term relationship, they want to support at least one of "The Speckerman Recurrence" and "The Shiny Trinket Maneuver, but not both.
